Spirituality in the Age of Technology

Considering how many of us have chosen to live our lives today, spiritually speaking; technology has become a major vehicle in getting any message across to a larger audience. This message we are speaking about begins with self. So, we must first search inwardly concerning our spirituality without the influence of others locally or worldwide. In other words, we must know ourselves before we can encourage others. Let’s explore spirituality for a minute.

Spirituality touches on broach topics and those topics are usually larger than ourselves. The spirituality I want to touch on is how we encourage ourselves and how we can encourage others. This encouragement begins with Love, Joy, Peace, Patience – Long Suffering, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Meekness – Humbleness – Gentleness, and Self Control. If we could slightly change how we view things and process things, the results of how we respond will alter the outcome to something more fruitful. Yes, these virtues are considered attributes that assist greatly in leading ourselves and others. Let’s explore the technology component for a minute.

Since the birth of technology, we have witnessed a new vehicle that can take us around the world and back as long as we have the time set aside to use this technology. Technology that can be used to negatively or positively affects us all. We have learned that there is life and death in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21) so let us breathe fruitful life in how we use this technology. This technology has birth a place for positive encouragement (www.fosmessenger.com) in conjunction with other sites that provides the same atmosphere.

Finally, we have all been asked to take this positive gospel message wherever we go (Matthew 28:20). Since technology has become the today’s norm in terms of getting a message to anyone, let us consider this massive tool we all have and use it in a positive manner. Let us spread Love, Joy, Peace, Patience – Long Suffering, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Meekness – Humbleness – Gentleness, and Self Control to others while receiving these same leadership virtues for self. A great place to share that positive fruitful message is right here at fosmessenger.com. Would you consider joining on this life journey of encouragement?
